Large water claim
Client Problem
A large water claim was called in to the insurance company at 11pm on a Thursday night.
The main stack pipe running throughout this large complex of flats was damaged and had started leaking. By the time the leak had been reported it had affected 12 flats and 8 communal corridors.
How we helped
After receiving our instruction, we immediately dispatched a team of 5, fast action was essential to try and limit the initial damage from the leek and stop any potential secondary damage from occurring.
By 7am the following morning, all damaged laminate floors had been lifted and disposed of.
We extracted water and sanitised over 2000 sqm of flooring and installed 60 pieces of drying equipment throughout the affected area.
Benefit
Due to the fast action and using the right drying equipment the premises was dry in 7 days.
