A middle floor flat had significant water damage throughout resulting in the policy holder having to temporarily re-locate for the clean up period.
Due to the disruption expected, the loss adjuster had anticipated moving the tenants from both the flat above and the flat below into temporary accommodation so we could dry all 3 properties simultaneously.
The only area wet was in the middle flat floor, and in the ceiling of the lower flat.
How we helped
Thinking outside the box we made the decision to install the T4 ESX into the ceiling void and the floor void of the middle flat and dried all 3 flats from the 1 middle flat.
The tenants from both the lower flat and the top flat were not required to move into temporary accommodation, meaning less disruption for them and a cost saving to the insurance company.
Minimal disruption to the neighbouring residents and significant cost saving to the insurance company.
